6 minute readDaniel Perez is, without a doubt, one the most recognised independent video analysis trainers in the Hispanic world. His course “360 Analysis", has already graduated more than 500 students and is one of the most complete courses of its kind in the Spanish.
In this article, he tells us about his experiences and explains why Nacsport is the leading tool at his academy.
This is a relationship that goes back many years, almost to the birth of Objetivo Analista.
“I almost can’t remember when I started using Nacsport”, says Dani. “I’ve tried every analysis program on the market. They all have their positive and negative points but, in the end, I always come back to Nacsport. It’s the software that most suits my needs, and that’s why I choose it for my students”.
Dani Pérez began his career as an engineer but decided to turn his passion for video analysis into a profession.
“I saw an opportunity and jumped at it”, says Dani. This was a discipline that had a future and I saw many opportunities within it. It was a great option to help me develop in the long term”.
From this point, he started a blog which, today, is one of the main sources of information for Spanish video analysts. As he moved forward, Objetivo Analista was born and grew to be one of the biggest football analysis courses in Spain.
“I’ve spent many years training many new batches of football analysts and I always have Nacsport by my side as our analysis software of choice”, he replies when asked about why he chooses Nacsport for his courses. “Why? For many reasons. Nacsport's support and dedication is incomparable. Any software could, theoretically, do the job. But the difference with Nacsport is this level of customer service”.
Throughout the years, Nacsport and Dani have worked very closely. It’s a relationship which benefits both parties.
“My students are very happy with Nacsport as a tool. Obviously, if you want to offer a professional experience in your courses, you have to choose software which is used in the professional world”.
“Nacsport saves you a lot of time, and this is something that I value tremendously. This is a massive consideration in a profession where we are up to our eyeballs in work everyday”.
“For this reason, every analyst who trains with me will learn everything I know about the industry and, of course, about analysis with Nacsport”.
Video analysis is a discipline which has grown exponentially throughout the years, of that there can be no doubt. It’s got to the point where there are many specific training courses, like that offered by Objetivo Analista.
“To those who have a passion for football and would like to make a living from it…follow your dreams”, says Dani. “Noone can guarantee success, but it’s certainly not impossible to achieve it. Success takes time and it takes effort, but one thing’s for sure…if you don’t try, you’ll never get”.
In Dani’s opinion, in order to enter the world of professional football, there are two fundamental requirements: dedication and training.
“I tell all my students that they have to learn by doing. Get a Nacsport license and try it out. Film your team and experiment. Before you know it, you’ll be analysing like a professional, fully in control of the tools and working efficiently”.
“But you also need some specific training in order to get to this point. Of course you can learn it on your own, but you’ll get there much quicker with the help of a professional”.
This is why professional development is essential in the world of professional football.
“Without a doubt, every footballing organisation should include video analysis in its training”.
Dani Pérez has been leading the way in video analysis training for many years and he is constantly thinking about the future of the profession.
“I want to keep following the path that took Objetivo Analista to where it is today,” Pérez says.
In other words, he wants to bring the world of analysis to as many people involved in football as possible.
“If people are well prepared, they will have many more opportunities for advancement,” he says. “And I’m not just talking about in the professional world, but also those that are working at grassroots and academy levels. My challenge is to make quality training available to anyone who wants to up their game.
“And that,” he concludes, “is why I choose Nacsport”.
