100% Online

Nacsport courses are 100% online. Video and text content is available on our own learning platform and can be accessed at any time, anywhere in the world. You only need an Internet connection. You can also download and keep the PDF texts for your own reference.

Course Content

The content of each course compromises various modules (6 in both the Starter Courses and Advanced Courses) which take you through different aspects of sports video analysis. To see the full content of each course, visit the info page of the course you are interested and scroll to the bottom.

The content of each module will consist of comprehensive prerecorded videos and downloadable PDFs. There is no live aspect of the course, meaning you can work through it at your own speed.

Method of Evaluation

Each module must be completed in order as each will contain knowledge needed for subsequent modules. At the end of each module, there will be a short multiple choice test which must be passed before moving on to the next module. You will have various attempts to complete these.

In addition, there will also be two practical tests which must be passed. You will use the knowledge you learn throughout the course to create a Tagging Window and Dashboard containing various elements indicated by us.

The final test will see you doing a full match analysis and creating a Presentation containing various elements as indicated by us. You must submit this Presentation in order to complete the course.

Tutors

An expert tutor will be assigned to you at the start of the course and will be available to answer any questions and generally guide you through the learning process.

You will be able to contact your tutor through the course platform at any time. The tutor will be in charge of marking and commenting on your practical assignments and final test.

Course Duration

You decide when to work on the course and, therefore, it is completely adaptable to your schedule. There is a maximum of 21 days to complete it.

Sports

The core content of the course is suitable for learning sport analysis in any sport. However, we offer four distinct courses separated by sport. You can choose to specialise in either Football, Basketball, Hockey, Rugby or Gaelic Games (Hurling, Camogie and Gaelic Football)*.

The material and content of each course has been specifically catered and adapted to each discipline.

*PLEASE NOTE: We are currently updating our courses for Nacsport 8.0. Currently, only the Starter Football (Soccer) Course is available, although we will be adding other sports and levels very soon.
